Breaking the Silence: 
Domestic Violence Event



A discussion on leadership, particularly regarding Black womanhood, conducted between Beverly Daniel Tatum, past Spelman College President, and Ingrid Saunders Jones. The Spelman College Board of Trustees, Sorors and personal friends of Ingrid Saunders Jones were present for the conversation.
Mentorship program with girls ages 4-18 in Gwinnett County, GA each Saturday during the academic school year. The activities conducted with the girls ranged from academic tutoring, emotional counseling, creative expression, leadership development, and sisterly bonding. Additionally, exclusive trips to the Spelman College campus were planned and executed for the girls so that the importance of a collegiate education could be instilled.

Relationship talks with
Stephan Labossiere


Mentorship program with high school girls at a local Atlanta Public High School. The activities conducted every second Friday of the month. The activities conducted with the girls included academic tutoring, Zumba classes, and an annual Christmas party.

A candid conversation with students of the Atlanta University Center on healthy love with relationship and love counselor Stephan Labossiere. The event took place during Valentine’s Day week each year.
